On 2 March 2011, towards the end of one of his last keynote presentations and after he had introduced the iPad 2, Steve Jobs summarised his company’s spirit saying:
“It’s in Apple’s DNA that technology alone it not enough – it’s technology, married with the liberal arts, married with the humanities, that makes our heart sing.”
That quote struck a chord with me ever since as I felt it was also a great way to describe myself and my interests. It helped me realise it was OK to be at the intersection between technology, photography, menswear, design, art… and that they would change with time.
In reading about this quote I came across this post which raises some very interesting points.
