Website – You Should Meet

Have you ever been in a conversation with a family member, a friend, a work colleague… and while you’re listening to them speak you start thinking of someone they should meet? This happens to me all the time and I realised that the way we introduce people nowadays, normally via email, could be substantially improved.

That’s what motivated me to design and develop You Should Meet, a free iOS and Android app that allows quick and easy introductions between two people through a mutual acquaintance. In a few simple steps you can import your contacts from your phone and outside networks and introduce two people you think should meet. Once they’ve accepted, your contacts can chat and exchange information; and you can also keep track of the introductions you’ve made and received.

In essence, I see You Should Meet as an instrument to help others through introductions, to have a positive impact on someone else’s life. I’ve attached a few screenshots here for you to see different sections.

The process of setting up a company, working with the developers on the design and functionality of the app as well as securing the domain and trademark to name a few things was one of the most enriching and fulfilling work experiences I’ve done. Although I got to the stage where it was on the Apple Store and Google Play, it’s not currently available to download but I hope to get it up and running again soon.
